Shiloh Privilege Red Blend Mevushal
An elegantly balanced and complex blend. An opportunity to enjoy a very special and smooth wine made of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Grenache and Cabernet Franc grapes. The maturity provided by aging the wine during 6 months in French oak barrels, allows us to appreciate its great quality and value the distinctive flavors of ripe fruits that resemble the uniqueness of the land of Israel
A great value Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich and earthy, yet floral and medium-bodied. If you're a fan of Shirah winery, how can you go wrong with their delicious budget-friendly wines that never fail to pack a huge punch, over-delivering for their respective price-point.
Pairing
Prime rib, New York strip and filet mignon, Grilled leg of lamb.
Ancient Roots, Modern Winery
Wine has always been a part of Jewish tradition. The abundance of biblical winepresses discovered in present-day Shiloh attests to this, and is the root of our modern winery. Established in 2005, the winery overlooks the breathtaking Shiloh River and Samarian Hills in what most studies have found to be the most ancient wine terroir in the world. Selecting only the best grapes from this region, we combine state-of-the-art technology with the uncompromising professionalism of winemaker Amichai Luria. The result: wines that sweep awards at international wine competitions and are sought after by connoisseurs around the world.
The bull is the symbol of the tribe of Joseph. With its strength and passion for leadership, as well as its humility and dedication to hard work, the bull represents an integral part of the essence of Joseph and Shiloh. It symbolizes our history, our wines, and our commitment to create for the future with the utmost respect for our past. “His glory is like the first-born of his bull, and his horns are like the horns of the wild ox…” (Deuteronomy 33:17)
Personal Touch
Three thousand years ago, King David wrote: “Wine gladdens the heart of Man” (Psalms 104:15). To this day, whether welcoming the Sabbath or bidding it farewell, celebrating holidays or special occasions, or elevating a simple meal with a touch of class, there will always be wine in the Jewish home. In ancient times, the Land of Israel's agricultural success provided its residents and the Jews of the Diaspora with wine. The Shiloh Winery team takes great pleasure in shipping its high quality wines from this unique region, to Jewish families and communities all over the world.
