Masciarelli Description
With the Marina Cvetic line from Masciarelli, there is an increase in intensity and overall quality of the wine. Still 100% Montepulciano from their top vineyards, this wine is fermented and macerated in stainless steel, but this is where the similarity to the Linea Classica ends. At this level, the wine is aged in new French barriques for 12 months which adds another layer of depth and complexity to the wine.
This wine shows high concentration of ripe black and red fruit with baking spice and clove. The wine is deftly balanced and the bright acidity offsets the increased presence of tannin at this level.
