Les Delices Rose de Prestige 2023
This rose perfectly exemplifies the Mediterranean lifestyle and "Les Delices" of the south. A beautiful wine with a petal rose color and fruity fresh flavors. Savory and round with notes of citrus on the finish. Enjoy it young and chilled as an aperitif with friends or with "sunny flavors" of Mediterranean or Asian cuisine.
Nose: Floral, fruity aromas, with notes of rose petals, citrus, strawberry, and white peach.
Palate: Light-bodied and dry, with crisp acidity and flavors that echo the nose. A touch of subtle minerality.
Finish: The liveliness of this rose lingers on the finish. Lots of peach and citrus fruit notes linger long after this wine coats your tongue.
Pairing
Fish: This is a classic pairing for Provençal rosés. The wine's acidity cuts through the richness of fish and shellfish, while the fruit flavors complement them nicely. Try it with grilled salmon, tuna nicoise salad, seared scallops, or even a seafood bouillabaisse.
Light and Summery Dishes: This rose shines with lighter fare, especially dishes that feature fresh herbs and seasonal vegetables. Think grilled chicken with a lemon-herb marinade, any salad with greens, tomatoes, olives, and tuna, or a vegetarian dish like ratatouille.
Salads: Salads with grilled chicken, shrimp, or goat cheese are fantastic options. You can also get creative with fruit-infused salads, like a strawberry spinach salad with a light vinaigrette.
Charcuterie: A cheese and charcuterie board is a great choice for an afternoon or evening with friends. Look for lighter cheeses like goat cheese, brie, or Gruyere. Pair them with cured meats, olives, roasted vegetables, and crusty bread.
