This Pouilly-Fuisse is grown in several parcels belonging to the Vincent family. Those situated in Vergisson give a refreshing acidity and mineral undertone while the Fuisse vineyards provide body and generous fruit. The wine is vinified in small oak barrels by Jean-Jacques Vincent, owner of the celebrated Chateau Fuisse, who blends the different origins to make a delicious, well-balanced Pouilly-Fuisse, that has ripe, mineral-toned aroma, is very clean, and dry, with a fresh finish.
The wine has white flower aromas and round, fresh, mineral flavors on the palate, with a clean and balanced character. Pairs well with fish, seafood, chicken and goat's milk cheeses. --Jean-Jacques Vincent Winemakers Note
