Bouvet's present production capacity of methode traditionnelle wines produced according to the classic champagne method stands at 2,300,000 bottles, approximately half of which is exported to the principal markets of the United States, Great Britain, Italy, Canada, Norway, Belgium, Germany, Australia and Holland, placing Bouvet-Ladubay first among exporters of the methode traditionnelle wines of Saumur.
This brilliant coral sparkling rose is dry, crisp and aromatic with ripe, succulent red berry flavors and refined herbal nuances of Cabernet fruit on the palate ending in a clean, mouthwatering finish.--Winemakers Note
Bouvet Rosé Brut exhibits a brilliant, delicate salmon-pink color punctuated by fine, pinpoint bubbles which suggest the wines fresh, raspberry and cassis fragrance. On the palate it is very dry and crisp, with plump, succulent red fruit flavors offset by subtle earthy notes and a lovely generosity on the clean, persistent finish.
A fruity style, very Pinot, with red berry and cherry notes allied to a light-bodied, wispy frame. Playful rather than serious. Pulls it off. Try with brunch or picnics. Drink now. - BS
