Clio wine has a deep ruby red color and aromas of black fruit, spice, and tobacco. The palate is full-bodied with flavors of black cherry, plum, and blackberry. The wine has a long, lingering finish. Nose: Massive and complex aromas of very ripe black fruit (blackberry compote, black cherry liqueur), underscored by sweet spice, vanilla, coconut, and toast from the new oak, with earthy notes of licorice, black olive, and smoke. Palate: Full-bodied, dense, and velvety on the palate. It delivers concentrated dark fruit flavors with notes of mocha, espresso, and cedar. Despite its power, it manages to maintain a luxurious, round texture. Finish: Very long, persistent, and warm, leaving a lasting impression of dark fruit and sweet oak.
