With a passion for the outdoors and a desire to work the land, the Coughlin family purchased part of Laufred Farms in Stanfordville, NY, a former beef farm, and renamed it Rolling Hills Farm in 2010. The farm’s 113 acres of rolling hills became the inspiration for Taconic Distillery’s entrance to Dutchess County’s local agribusiness market. In addition to being enjoyed at the breakfast table, naturally organic maple syrup offers many benefits. It has higher nutritional value and fewer calories than many sweeteners, is high in anti-oxidants and has no artificial color, ingredients, or additives. It is naturally gluten free. The rich taste of our pure maple syrup is delicious on its own or when used as an ingredient in cocktails, flavorful dishes, or baked goods. We often use our own maple syrup for crafting our signature cocktails. The simple sugars found in both, trace their origins to oak and maple.
