Deep red-ruby. Blackberry, licorice, leather, flowers, minerals and smoky oak on the pure, complex nose. A bit less expressive in the mouth, but with enticing sweetness to its dense dark fruit, mineral and licorice flavors. Finishes layered and quite long, with a juicy quality and impressive chewy depth. --Stephen Tanzer
