Made from a blend of Nero d'Avola and Syrah, this wine has an intense, deep ruby-red color. Its bouquet is full of ripe blackberries and raspberries with notes of spices and cacao. Its warm fruit flavors are velvety and full-bodied on the palate, with a long, aromatic finish that persists. It pairs well with elaborate meat dishes, roasted and stewed meats; also recommended with matured (3-13 months) Ragusano D.O.P. cheese.--Winemaker Notes
