The Tryconnell Single Malt Irish Whiskey, a brand steeped in history and heritage, has been revived by Cooley. The Tryconnell Irish Whiskey was introduced in 1876 as a special label in tribute to a famous Irish horse that won at odds of 100 to 1 and is to this day seen on the label of the Tryconnell Single Malt. Traditionally, most Irish malt has been used to create blended Irish whiskey so it is rare to find Irish malt whiskey bottled in its purest form. Tyrconnell Single Malt is approachable with a smooth and delicate taste that makes it the perfect entry to the exciting world of Single Malt Whiskey.
Tasting Notes:
Color: Golden Yellow
Nose: Full and fruity aroma with a citrus - spiciness taste
Taste: Well structured with honey notes hanging from the nose. A tang of oranges and lemons, a strong malt presence that balances well with the oily sweetness
Finish: A long finish with the malt becoming more dominant to the end without the soft fruits and honey, which helped make up the middle.
