Founded in 1996 by Bill Foley, Lincourt is a producer of ultra premium wines from the Santa Ynez Valley. A long time wine enthusiast, Bill has been particularly enchanted with the wines of Burgundy. In 1994, when he and his wife Carol relocated their family to Santa Barbara, he discovered that the potential to produce some of Americas most distinguished versions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay lay just miles north of his home. Bill and Carol named their new winery Lincourt, in homage to their two daughters, Lindsay and Courtney.
Sourced from the renowned Chardonnay regions of the Santa Rita Hills. Bright, overt and surprisingly bold, this Chardonnay offers up a complex mix of apples, pears, lemons and guavas. The palate is broad, but crisp and lively thanks to the great natural acidity. --Winemakers Note
