This cuvee is made utilizing fruit only from the oldest vines, hence the label designation Vieilles Vignes. Difficult to blend as the class of Chambolle ought not to be confused with lack of weight. Sourced from three parcels of old vines aged 40, 55 and 68 years which is representative of Chambolle. A beautiful match with veal, turkey, pork, pheasant, game, fowl, duck and beef.--Winemakers Note
