Michel Torino Cuma Malbec

Vintage: 2011
With over 1500 acres of vineyards standing at 5500-6600 feet above sea level, Michel Torino is the most important winery in the Cafayate Valley of Argentina. The winery practices sustainable, enviromentally friendly farming by minimizing the use of fertilizers and chemicals in the vineyard. The unique Cafayete climate manifests itself in the elegant, focused profile of Michel Torino's wines.

The flagship varietal from Argentina. NOP certified organic, this wine exhibits a lively red-violet color, with opulent aromas of bright cherry and plum jam, raisin, vanilla and rosemary notes. On the palate, there is plenty of ripe fruit, with date and raisin flavors, and soft, sweet tannins, and a trace of nuts and spice on the long finish.
