As winegrowers, they noticed that their wines standout through intense work in the vineyards and by searching for the full expression of their terroir. Their vision: good balance of the vines, control of the yields, ripeness and healthy vineyards. This is expressed through methods of cultivation in tune with their view of the environment (work of the soils, cover crop, etc.) and traditional vinification with minimal intervention.
Aged on lees: 50% in vats, 50% in 2 to 7 year old 228 liter French oak barrels for 9 months. Light straw in the glass. Citric aromas of mandarin and apricot. A tight palate with flavors coming out of pear, apricot, and light lime and peach peel.--Winemakers Note
Shows a flash of matchstick, before giving way to a juicy core of Jonagold apple, anise, starfruit and melon flavors, all backed by green almond and chamomile. Rich but racy on the finish, with excellent drive.--Wine Spectator
