100% of the Chardonnay grapes come from a single vineyard in the Russian River AVA. Russian River's cool climate allows the grapes to retain acidity while slowly developing aromas and flavors. Fruit is harvested by hand in small containers with the philosophy that higher attention to detail yields higher quality. Whole clusters are pressed for gentle handling to bring out pure fruit aromas and flavors.
Straw color with moderately intense aromas of apple, tropical fruit notes and hint of vanilla and butter. Medium body with balanced acidity with a touch of oak towards the finish.--Winemakers Notes
