Processing Procedure; When will my order get shipped?
For standard FedEx Ground shipment, orders received before 12
Noon, Eastern time Monday through Friday are processed the same
day that we receive them. Orders received after 12 Noon, Eastern
are processed the next business day. If you request Overnight
or other expedited shipping, the cutoff time for same day processing
is 3 PM, Eastern time. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will
be shipped on the first available delivery day. Your credit card
will be billed when we confirm inventory is available for shipment.
Due to inventory issues, your shipment may be delayed for one
to three business days after receipt of your order. If the shipping
method you select will not be able to arrive to the destination
during the same week of the order, we reserve the right to hold
your shipment. In the event of inclement weather extremes, whether
heat, cold, snow, hurricanes, or other, we may hold your wine
order for a period of time until ideal conditions for shipping
arise. Your order is stored in our temperature controlled cellar
until it is shipped out. We can not control the storage conditions
in our carrier’s warehouse and do not want your orders sitting
in their warehouse over the weekend. Shopper's Vineyard assumes
no responsibility for goods damaged during shipping.
For orders over 10
cases please call to place your order.

Product
Availability:
All wines featured in our online store are subject to availability.
However, fine wines are not produced on a large scale. Many vintage
wines are limited in availability and, when they go out of stock,
are usually not replaceable. New vintages and other similar wines
replace those that are no longer available. It is possible that
we may run out of an item. In that event, we will contact you
via email and allow you to substitute another product or allow
a vintage substitution.

Determining
your Shipping Charges:
To find your exact shipping charges, you must determine two factors
— the shipping unit value of your order AND your shipping
zone.
Shipping Unit Value:
Most bottles have a shipping unit value of 1. Some bottles, which
because of size or shape, require additional space, packaging
materials, or special handling have been assigned higher shipping
unit values. Any products assigned higher values will be labeled
so on the product pages. Any item not displaying a shipping unit
value may be assumed to have a value of 1.
Shipping Zone:
Your shipping zone is based on the first three digits of your
Zip Code. If you have visited our web site before you may remember
that we formerly listed rates by state, rather than Zip Code,
and that we have expanded the number of zones from 4 to 7 zones.
These modifications were made to reflect recent changes in rate
structure made by FedEx; and to offer more accurate rates based
on actual distances traveled. Locate your zip code in the chart
below, and it will give you your shipping zone. As examples:
- New York, NY 10021:
100 are the first three digits. In the table and you will find
an entry 060-127. Since 100 falls in that range, the shipping
zone would be Zone 1.
- Chicago, IL 60637:
606 are the first three digits. In the table and you will find
an entry 600-639. Since 606 falls in that range, the shipping
zone would be Zone 4.
- Beverly Hills 90210:
902 are the first three digits. In the table and you will find
an entry 885-966. Since 902 falls in that range, the shipping
zone would be Zone 7.
When you have both
the Shipping Unit value of your order and your Shipping Zone,
look on the table to find your exact charges. For rates for larger
shipments, or if you have any questions, please call us at 973-916-0707,
extension 119, or email us at info@shoppersvineyard.com.
