WOW! That was my first reaction after tasting Pasodoble Red several months ago – Big Flavors, Dark Fruits, Excellent Balance and a Smooth Finish. Damn!!! That was the second word out of my mouth after hearing the wine wouldn’t be available until October.
Well…October is here and so is Bodegas Poesia’s Pasodoble Red, Argentina’s Bordeaux look-alike that Jay Miller of Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate raved about, giving this killer find a 90 point score!!! In fact, much of the fruit in Pasodoble Red is sourced from Poesia's flagship wine that runs for $60+ dollars a bottle. Bodegas Poesia is owned by Bordeaux proprietress and winemaker Helene Garcin-Leveque of Chateau Clos l’Eglise in Pomerol. She is closely affiliated with Bordeaux superstar Michel Rolland, yet is determined to blaze her own trail in the wine world, both stylistically and historically.
Like most of my buys targeted for eLetters, I only got 1 shot at this release, so when it sells out, it’s gone! Buy this recession-proof gem by the case today!

Note:
When buying wine, it's always cost effective to
buy 12 bottles to save on the shipping charges. However,
if you aren't going to buy 12 bottles then you
should buy at least 3 bottles. Depending on the bottle,
you get charged the same amount on 1 bottle as you do
on 3 bottles. |
